Tom Jones by Henry fielding

Tom Jones

Tom Jones was written by Henry fielding in 1749.Tom was protagonist in the novel. He was orphan child and leave in house of his aunt. It is satire and also should be religious of them. Tom is comic character. ‘Tom Jones’ novel was comic satire. He dares to face the society and individual life. We don’t found completeness in this novel. Sophia is woman character and she is beautiful, smart and rich woman. As we see that idea of morality is for away from Tom’s character. He was affair of so many girls. Tom was bad and evil character. We see in the novel in revolt, freedom, and passion never lost these three things in your life.

Henry fielding made Tom’s character as became ambiguity.  The novel “Tom Jones” was combination of comedy and moral judgment. Fielding use of language as irony. We know that literary meaning of the world and how they constructed of life in social construction. We see the gentle man may not mean the same in connotation significance. The structure of the novel “Tom Jones” is Irony of Form”.  The novel was narrated as third person narration. Tom character is good and bad both the side. And every action has dual meaning in the novel form need for ironic. It should be simple and supportive. It is for our psychological mind and a ethnical pleasure. It is a virtual history or memory created by a literary artist with the perception of real world experience.  How tom Jones was reflected England society and youth represented them. He was rebellions younger man and sent mental man as a satire and realistic novel.   Mrs. Water role was servant. Tom was relation with bridge. So called social morality is the result of irony in the novel. Sophia was loved her father and how she became good to tom.  She was recognized and clear them. Jenny is happy and given good things to Tom. He was love them his aunt Jenny. Jenny and Mrs. Water was vital role in tom’s life.  Here we see that generation gap and how society represented them. Tom falls to play his role as power a responsible brother and lack of decisive power. How his human nature to tome life its became you. We see our self to become tom. Tom misjudgment fails to understand human nature. Mr.Allworthy and Mrs. Allworthy play vital of Tom s life. We see that Sophia love tom but here we see that Tom affair with many girls.  He was respected to women but not evil of the Jones family.

Mrs. Allworthy: I knew!  I have faults, but ingratitude to you is not one of them. I never can nor shall forget your goodness, which lawn I have very little deserved…

Here we see that tom becomes good to Allworthy family. He was rich but not any child to them. That’s why tom became member of this family. Many a time jenny is match making of many characters. Tom’s basic goodness must either arise from innate qualities or be learned. Allworthy natural love of justice and his coolness of temper. In that case, we see that Allworthy given to impropertrial by tom. When dinner was over, and servants departed Mr.allworthy begun to harangue. He set him and a long speech to tom.

In novel we say that Tom is innocent child but society given to bad thing to Tom’s life. How nobility of heart and to be birth in found tom character. Fielding is creating reality of social, morality, political and economical consenter in novel. Fielding given to moral lesson and use to “I” and “My” as may be Reader. But in perhaps the reader may wonder why lady Ballston.  Who in Sophia heart hatred. she should be so desirous of promoting a match which was so much to interest of young woman. Tom Jones makes us laugh at our own weakness in this novel.

So we can say that Tom represent to youth. And society becomes wild of them, there are so bad to people them. Fielding use to satire and comic sconce in novel to may be his styles of writing. Tom character was good and bad but at end he became moral and   religious person.

Kanthapura by Raja Rao

Kanthapura by Raja Rao

We study to India writing in English. In we see Raja Rao was great writer, poet and novelist. He was write one novel entitled like “Kanthapura” published in 1938. Here we see that   kanthapura was a village, it may be that kasipura in south India.  This was not real village but only imagination of Raja Rao. The novel narrated as old women. But in this story one man as Harikatha like that tells them. Jayramakrishna was men of village and talk to mythical way. The novel began that to Indian myth like Shiva, Vishnu, Rama, Krishna etc. The author as given imagination of Indian god and goddesses. Kanthapura is narrated by old aged woman Kenchamma.  In novel we see that novel narrated to Indian myth as katha. In novel myths are important? What is myth as well as story? Because how she narrated one kind of story in daily life. It is also of combination reality and truth imagination of Brahmin life and how they play vital role in novel. It is only represented Indian minds and social religious them. Myths are only for heritage and simple but nothing of them. So we see in this novel in subordinate a term use in law caste.

  •   Myths in novel

Kanthapura in main protagonist Moorthy was told story of god. And it is image of Indian religious and myth in his life. Moorthy was non violent. He talks that to Gandhian ideas and telling to the village people as freedom movement at story of god. Kanthapura was imagination of Raja Rao and in that one Story with in the story of Harikatha. This story tells as to kasipura people at of mythical story.

How he understands to human nature and the village people like and struggle to India becomes free county. In that case Moorthy telling story of Gandhi. Gandhi was “Rama”.  And how British represented in story of that “Ravan”.  It is evil thinks and compared to both of them. In the novel, we find a village became India.

And this myth about to when goes way. The country own myths as to be history of India. Rama, the narrator, does not answer such questions; he only chronicles the breakdown of the relationship, almost impersonally, as if there were little he could do to save it. He also does not feel himself responsible for having affairs with other women, one of which involves a ritual second marriage, while being married to Madeleine at the same time. What is lacking, then, is an adequate motivation for the actions of the characters, something that most readers are conditioned to expect from a novel. Kanthapura novel narration that myths and brief struggle of Gandhi and freedom fighter movement tells in this novel as mythical way. Kenchamma was tells that Gandhi was lord Rama of Indian and how he was not happy to British people bad and many of die to Hindus.

“Myths are collective in our unconscious mind”

Raja Rao has who write and thought that this village as india. Moorthy and other native people was fight to religious and upper caste people. Here we see that creation of grandmother as god mingles with human beings as ideal person. At that time, Indian sensibility of literary middle path as Raja Rao is caught between two path East and West Indian.
  •              Subordinate to law caste

Kanthapura in upper and lower caste represent to Indian rigidity, religious and cultural things. In this caste of that untouchable, gender different, politics, superstition etc. Moreover we see that Kanthapura frame work of that blend of history and myths. It is help us to reexamine characters. Kanthapura in social, cultural, political, religious, spiritual etc. relationship of the protagonist moorthy like this. We see that women are minor character. They not leave together of male. We read novel kanthapura as to begun to religious and at end its becomes political novel.
We can see that women characters are active in this village like Kenchamma, Mrs. Bhatia, Ratna, Moorthy mother and his wife and other Dalits women. The women getting together and making a group “Sevika Sangh”. It givens a natural touch to situation. One character like Bhatia who was against Gandhi ideas. He was rich person.  He was married a girl after his wife death. We see that only 12 year girl married them. Here we see that society has rigid and an ancient idea follows them. Kanthapura has become melting plot of nationalism. Here we see caste consciousness and shape of the quarters speak about prosperity of the few and poverty of main. Women and Dalits are in wretched condition. In the novel, we see typical male constructed culture with a lot of rules and regulation imposed upon women. Dalits are not come in village only for early morning. so it is life of kanthapura village.

So we can say that in kanthapura novel as Gandhian ideas, independent thinks, religious, culture and political thinks in this novel. Raja Rao gives imagination of real Indian and there lifestyle portrayed in this novel kanthapura.

The Fakeer of Jungheera by Henry Derozio.

The Fakeer of Jungheera by Henry Derozio.

The Fakeer of Jungheera is a long poem by Henry Louis Vivian Derozio. He was poet, novelist and writer. Most of the work in found to Indian religious, culture, rule and regulation, rigidity, culture etc. His writing in see to voice of against to society.    Something should be real and has society represented of cruel way. In this long poem, “The Fakeer of Jungheera” in protagonist of the Fakeer poem is a robber Fakeer or a mendicant, who belongs to some unidentified Muslim sect, while the heroine the widow Nuleeni, comes from an upper cast Bengali Hindu family.
The Fakeer of Jungheera - A study in the Narrative Art. “The Fakeer of Jungheera” is the masterpiece creation of Henry Derozio. The Fakeer of Jungheera as a Revolutionary Poem Satipratha Caste System Religion. In his poems, he deals with the theme of patriotism, of love, of nature, of death. The central theme of ‘The Fakeer of Jungheera’ is the ignoble and in human practice of ‘sati’ in the contemporary orthodox Indian society. This rotten system had been in vogue in the Indian society for centuries, and Derozio vehemently protested the ‘sati’ system both in his social life and in the classroom as a teacher at the Hindu college, Calcutta. He wrote this poem to highlight the issue. Derozio’s uses Christian imagery, such as heaven and juxtaposes it against the Hindu tradition of sati, Muslim prayers and tantric tale of raja Vikramjit and Baital to create acquaint, romantic atmosphere. In poem we see that how nature and village people have to evil to this both lover life. We see that Nuleeni was protagonist and she is fear to become dying of them. Derozia was imagines to this pure and innocent woman “Nuleeni” became “Sati”. She loved Fakeer. Nuleeni was the widow and her husband was dying. At that time Nuleeni’s husband funeral pai and she thinks that her lover Fakeer came. She has thought to her husband but her eye in sun light of happiness to free this world.

The sun like a golden urn
Where floods of light ever burn,
And fall like blessings fast on earth,
Bringing its beauties brightly forth.

She was free to this social thinks. But in the novel the women seem to Nuleeni face and how she thinks that at end of the day happy of them. She is center, silence. Innocent and prays to god. In that time Derozio portrayed to Nuleeni’s beauty.Naleeni ‘s Beauty “The smile comes from her ruby lips like the sun rushing from eclipse”.

Her hope for Fakeer “Nuleeni’s eye is not upon the dead to one after her parting thoughts have flead; and she remembers now the blissful hours where east she met him! Love is elysian beam”.  Nuleeni’s father could not bear the insult of his daughter Inter-cast marriages. He fights alone but could not stand the big army. He gets injured and dies on the lap of his beloved. Here we see that Death and love are together of them. In here we see that Victimization of Women NULEENI AS a VICTIM Widow of her husband Victim of “Sati Pratha” Victim by society Helpless Mentally dead Death of her “beauty” and “Charm” Death of her love Becomes second widow of her lover Fakeer.
People have se and Nuleeni should do at bad thinks to goes to Fakeer. So we see that Nulleni’s eyes in Fakeer. She should do bad thinks. But at thing to deconstructed ideas of that Moral and ideal thinks. Which time goes that beautiful night in jungle? Fakeer and Nuleeni fear of that.  Society becomes killing to her lover. Both are gone to jungle and fear of that village people came here and kills them.    Derozio imagined beauty and nature   not in favors to Nuleeni.

“His eye though sifted into love far from the mildness of the dove”.

Derozio write and narrated to poem beauty. He thought that morality and modern thinks are change in this poem. Love external, immoral of Fakeer. But at morning Nuleeni’s face as dark, fear, sadness and no any hope feeling them. The village people came here and talk to both of them.   Nulleni’s Father was unhappy and his attitude of society as rich, upper caste person. So we see that both lover fail. Nuleeni was no any hope and feelings. At end of the novel Fakeer said that: No farewell to spoken ‘Death is victory’.

So we can say that in this poem my objective that to discuss the musicality in the poem, the impacts of the Romantics and some other unnoticed fetchers of the beautiful poem. How woman is center and society rigidity as became evil to Nuleeni’s life. And we found to morality, poverty, caste differences, religious, sati pratha etc.

The Renaissance in India by Sri Aurobindo.

The Renaissance in India

As we study to Indian writing in English in great writer like Sri Aurobindo. He was written in “The Renaissance in Indian” as essay published in 1918. so now my point of view in this essay. He given ideas about to Indian Civilization, culture, religious, rules, education etc.  During this period he also joined a revolutionary society and took a leading role in secret preparation for an uprising against the British govern in India. He Present us with a masterly view of India's culture through this age. In this essay also for essential spirit and her character soul, unique genius and power of creates to the period.  As we know that the Indian renaissance to  write about the human civilization and modern ideas of this culture of writing.  Many Indian writer also wrote to a spiritual aspiration was the governing force of this culture. How British people leave them and ruling to India. But we accepted their culture and leave life. Here we see that Aurobindo given Indian culture in effect to British civilization and culture. After 1947, in India in many religious and education at changes that. He began the ‘foundations’ series as a review of john Woodrow and William archer, also for his own estimation of Indian's civilization and culture.
He given view of that Indian culture. As we know that grater of Indian civilization.
In this essay growing movement toward new life and new thoughts like modernity. Here we see that he makes India becomes recovery of his old spirit and national ideas. And how self expression which shall give the spiritual force for reshaping and rebuilt nation. Moreover, we can see that long eclipsing period and self consciousness at the surface, creative spirit  participated to a name pundits all pointing towards nadir.

Indian spirituality : which has always maintain itself ever in the decline of the national vitality. It was certainly that which saved India always at every critical movement of his destiny. As we see that the starting point too at his renaissance and new philosophical, artistic,  literary, cultural, political and social terms. Now we should be buy Indian at that time may be say that not only for culture and civilization but as part of that education was important. As we know that Indian spirituality is a master key of Indian mind. Physical to super physical in Indian people.  Aurobindo said that Indian could never lose  this   in hour of decline. It helped to preserve Indian civilization.

Essay in ideal perfection society:
Aurobindo says that ideal states are only for culture and educated people. His ideas about that confronted with the huge rush of modern life and though invaded by another dominant civilization almost his opposite.  We  should not stick to old ideas. Political unification of humanity as  a very important  part of the psychological sense of social development. He said  that we have thought our self in dustbin. But here we can say that whatever the old tradition. We just keep only things which fetes your modern lifestyle like political social life are connected.

“Light says that you have sparked within and you must recognize that spark”

In that essay we see that Aurobindo gives imagination of after British raj how India development and civilized country in third world nation.  As we see that an entire return  upon our self is our only way of salvation. We should avoid mechanical imitation subordination and salvation, social and political  liberty, equality and democracy. Indian  failed to exclude external influence “is India civilized?”

 Rebuilding of the nation:
·       Recovery of the old spiritual knowledge.
·       India as modern nation
·       Desire for new creation
·       Turning the national mind to its past
·       Rigidness in Indian  culture.

So we can say that in this essay “The Renaissance in India” how Indian ideas and so called cultural, civilization and educational point of view in this essay. It was modern thing in India writing in English.

New Year Joy.

2016...

alas, what do You have for us in store
- a cold, a flew, disease, or more

The future is what it will be,
no use to fret what might not be.
Instead, just feel the moment Now,
No words describe it, yet somehow

A joy profound, when out of mind,
no problems there to be defined.
So next year can be just like this
just watch the mind, and it, dismiss.

Introduction

Introduction

There is no thing
to threaten you,
To make you fear,
to make you blue,

When you know that
You're One with All,
Not separate, existing small,
For no thing is outside the ALL,
Not you,
not me,
no one at all;

The Peace of God
lies in this thought,
So ponder it,
and don't be caught,
By ego's wish for specialness,
A thought of separate
wishfulness;

ACIM, Text, Introduction, v2, pg 3, Second Edition

------------------

Smile4yourself@poemsfromheaven.org
Magic happens when one begins to follow their heart.

That's how these poems have come.

ACIM says that Miracles are natural, and when they don't happen, something has gone wrong.

A journey towards Miracles is a journey away from worry, and away from regret. It's a path that leads to no particular place, yet one that takes one just where one needs to go. It's a path of gentleness and acceptance, where one finds themselves not complaining any more, not finding fault with everything around, not trying to blame everyone for their own failings.

Poetry is just an outlet, a side dish of the journey.

These poems were inspired by A Course in Miracles. (ACIM) They use ACIM terminology, and were written as part of my own imaginary journey back to God. I started studying ACIM in 1994 as part of my own search for meaning. I never thought I'd be writing poetry. Nevertheless, it seems to come, so I guess I'll write it. Maybe you'll find it helpful, or at least entertaining.

If you are new to ACIM, the poems reflect various themes in A Course In Miracles, but in rhyme. At times, they have adult content, but then so does the six-O'clock news. If they shock you, you can simply forgive me and use them in your journey helping you to learn to forgive. They after all are written for me, from my journey & my experience.

When I began to write these, I had no idea where they will go, or how they will end. I simply started with an idea or a question, and watched how the poem would answer it.

I offer them to you, as they are, and wish you the best in everything.
