Renunciation
Does Heaven welcome paupers,or rich folk such as me?
Must I give up all that I love
so that I can be free?
This question brings up fear in you
-you know well what I said:
"that Spirit would do nothing
to increase your fear and dread;"
I told you that you'd give up
illusion --no thing real,
so when you do, it won't be hard
you'll smile -it's one good deal !
But while you think illusion,
is real to you indeed,
It will be hard to give it up,
--this world of love and greed;
Yet All is Me united,
and You're there too with Me,
and nothing else exists outside
it's all a part of Me;
you'll give up the unreal in you,
--Imagination Space,
where you get lost in fantasy,
into stories where you chase;
Chasing for more, to fill each hole
with what you think is gold
you try to fill each lack perceived,
with all except your soul;
To chase a lack, when you have All
is but illusion son,
just recognize that We are One
and lack exists for none;
To think that you are separate
is the first lack conceived,
because I am just everything
you too are Love received;
A hierarchy of lacks has come
to hide this truth from you
a game the mind has planted
so you`d think now what`s not true;
So think again an instant
a miracle has come
and let the Love of Heaven shine
on you who are My Son.

If one knew that the world did not exist except in the mind, they would live in a way that resembles renunciation, for what here would matter? What would there be to give up?
